Today we had a female model for the first time. We've started with 1 minute drawings. I found, drawing female character, much easier than male. It is probably because of curves. The female drawings are much more powerful and there is so much weight.
After 1 minute sketches we had to draw both using line of action and geometric shapes.
Then for the first time we were putting tones to our drawings. However, we only focused on the torso, as it is the biggest part of the body and very important in animation as it drives whole character.
Today we were introduced to one more new technique. Which is drawing with circles. This technique helps with the depth of our drawings. We overlap the circles which creates feeling of perspective.
